FakeNewsIndia is a satirical archive and commentary platform, not a news agency. We revisit documented claims, clipped context and reporting that deserves a second look. Old stories are dated as old stories. Our illustrations are original commentary, never presented as photographs of real events.

First the claim. Then the whole sentence.

Each report separates the claim, the factual finding and our commentary. We summarise claims rather than putting invented words in quotation marks. Context includes the date, what was omitted and any later clarification. A headline is an invitation to investigate, not a substitute for investigation.

AI isn’t a witness.

AI finds and assists. Sources establish. Humans approve.

AI can help locate material, compare context and draft explanations. It can also be wrong. Source links let you inspect the evidence. AI assistance is not evidence or a substitute for editorial responsibility. Humans decide what to publish and are responsible for checking attribution and context. There is no live automated Scout or automatic publishing service connected to this site.

We mock the claim, not the community.

Our target is documented nonsense, reasoning and reporting. We do not use derogatory nicknames for people, religions, communities or organisations. A joke does not excuse inaccurate attribution.

Links, not loot.

Photographs, clips and articles stay with their creators. We provide concise summaries, our own commentary and links. Original records are labelled separately from source reports; where the original survives only inside an investigation, we say so. We do not host copied third-party media.

We can take a correction.

Found a missing sentence or better evidence? Use our corrections and challenge route. Include the report, the disputed detail and a source. Substantive corrections will be dated on the report. We won’t promise that every complaint changes a verdict, but the evidence gets heard.
